Comparison between proposed fuzzy logic and anfis for mppt control for photovoltaic system

In this paper, a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) based maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm for photovoltaic (PV) systems is achieved and compared with an anfis ( neuro-fuzzy) based mppt, this method combines the learning abilities of artificial neural networks and the ability of fuzzy logic to handle imprecise data. Both methods are simulated using matlab/ simulink. The power variation and the current variation are chosen as inputs of the proposed controllers, which simplifies the calculation. FLC based mppt and anfis based mppt are tested in terms of steady state performance and the dynamic of the pv system.
