Optimal configuration of Hybrid PV-Generator (diesel /GPL) for a Production Decentralized Electricity in Algeria

Amara Mohamed

Abstract

The configuration of hybrid energy systems has a great influence on the cost of generated energy from the system. This paper presents the application of the different  autonomous hybrid renewable energy  configurations using hybrid PV-generator (diesel /GPL (liquid petroleum gas)) system. The proposed strategy is applied for optimal design and minimizes the total cost of the hybrid power generation system in isolated rural village in south Algeria named “Tindouf ”.in order to compare the best cost and optimal configuration of renewable energy of of a rural regions of Algeria, in the terms cost of production of solar and energy with its annual yield relevant to different configurations. For enhanced the best components and sizing with a cheap, efficient, reliable and cost-effective system of a rural region. The results show that the hybrid PV-LPG generator system is the most suitable solution in terms of economic performance and pollution, with a low-cost energy and environmentally friendly than the energy produced by other configurations.
