A review on Harmonics Eliminiation in Real Time for Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter using Particle Swarm Optimization

Renewable energy has a great importance for power generation as it does not use the fossils fuels. Energy generated from alternative energy sources are weather dependent. To generate a continuous power to meet the load requirements, Battery energy storage system are used. Power conversion process must be much efficient as possible. To make the conversion process more reliable and stable, the inverter used is called multilevel inverter. Output of this inverter must meet the IEEE standard requirements. Harmonics plays a significant role in the efficiency of the inverter. These harmonics also generated because of non-linearity in the load. This paper presents the brief review of minimizing the unwanted harmonics for multilevel inverter through particle swarm optimization technique in real time scenario.
