Dr. Vijayalakshmi S. holds the position of assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRMIST. She obtained a B.E. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Easwari Engineering College, Chennai, and an M.E. degree in Power Electronics and Drives from Sathyabama University in 2006. She performed her research on wind energy conversion systems in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai. She has authored more than 20 technical papers that have been published in SCI and Scopus-indexed publications. She possesses patents and has produced research articles in book chapters. Her current study focuses on renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and microgrids. She is affiliated with the IEEE and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
